Norm!

In my adult life, Norm MacDonald has pretty constantly been one of the three celebrities I'd really go out of my way to meet. I'm still waiting on a lucky Tre Cool-outside-the-E-Center-circa-2002 type run-in with John Frusciante, and eight years of showing up during shoot-arounds for Kings, Grizzlies, and Heat games have only proven that Jason Williams hates everybody in the world. But Norm really came through.
A bunch of us from work went up to Wise Guys in Ogden to catch Norm's show last night. As we're waiting in line for doors to open, Norm just comes out and starts talking to people. And really, there just isn't a cooler guy in the world. He let us take pictures and shook our hands and even acted surprised when we told him we liked his stuff from Dennis Miller's radio show. I asked why he wasn't on earlier in the week as scheduled, and he totally gave me the Norm-esque "the problem with that show is it's so...uh...early! It's just...early!" Just like any of Norms stuff, it doesn't really translate into type because none of his material is funny at all without the delivery, but yeah. That was pretty much all I could ask for. Needless to say, the show was amazing and Norm is one of the coolest guys in the world.
The more I look at this picture, the more I insist on having it as part of the slideshow that plays at my funeral, preferably fading in right after the one of my Ziggy birthday cake.

Last night freakin rocked! Norm is so great! Thanks for telling me about the show. It was a night to remember!!
Norm Rules! One of the funniest shows of my life!! I love how he just rambled and ran out of material about 10 minutes into his show. The funniest thing about it is that it was typical Norm and only he could make running out of material hilarious.
you look like Danny in that picture. interesting
