Daily Spotlight- Smiles

Man, it's only been two weeks and the Daily Spotlight is already suffering. I blame myself for not having more pictures on this piece of crap computer. Luckily I stumbled upon a work folder with convention samples, so I don't have to break my rule of posting with no picture and I get to spotlight my lovely sister in-law.
A couple of years ago, Danny thought it would be a good idea to make me and Brian look even worse than we already do. He couldn't just get married and leave it at that, he had to marry someone who is pretty freaking awesome. I met Savannah, a.k.a. Smiles, like 9 years ago when she was only like 14. Anderson and I would go hang out with her family whilst still technically on a mission, and she was just the nicest girl in the world. She would make the most delicious cakes. But we always loved her family. Anderson and I would go up like every year just to hang out. But Danny and I took a trip up after he had just gotten home from England, we hung out for like 3 days, and on the way back he pretty much said he was going to marry her. Danny says retarded things multiple times a day, but that was an exception to the rule. It was insane. It's a lot longer and a better story than that, but I refuse to take forever blogging about something unless it's as unimportant and boring as my collection of guitar effects.
Anyway, Smiles is a fantastic lady. She's insanely talented and crafty. She can paint, make blankets, cook, decorate, all kinds of stuff. She is the most hillarious person ever when it comes to accidentally saying dirty stuff and giving wrong answers while playing board games. One of the craziest things about Savannah though is how hardcore she is. In Montana she worked a freaking construction job! Not holding the stop sign...working huge heavy machinery. Meanwhile, i work a job where I explain to people how rubber stamps work. Yep. Like two days after she gives birth to little fatty, I go over to the house and she's just up and around, cleaning up, sewing, just doing her thing. If Savannah wasn't so nice and sweet, I promise she could beat down pretty much any girl. And that's one of the many reasons I love and respect her.

She is by far the best person ever. I totally agree with her being able to beat up any girl if she would only stop being so nice.
I just have to add the little piece about her NEVER, even to this day, being able to say the right one when she is trying to talk about Hong Kong, King Kong, or Donkey Kong. She just never says the right one on her first attempt. I'm laughing out loud as I type this.
I love her.
Savanah is pretty freaking awesome. Danny is a lucky duck.
I know how to spell Savannah. oops.
She is a pretty amazing girl... how did a guy like Danny get so lucky, now that is the question?? =)
cause Danny is a true mon ami
What a nice post! Danny really is one lucky duck. I hope no one ever beats me up though, I've always been afraid of being "jumped" by someone. What would I do? Curl up in the fetal position and let them beat the dirt out of me, run screaming until they catch me and continue to beat the dirt out of me, fight back and still get the dirt beaten out of me? hmm...that's a thinker. :}
How in the world did you get so much dirt inside of you?
