Daily Spotlight- Kevin Smith

My blog has sucked lately! My traffic is at an all time low. So it's time for the Daily Spotlight (which I refuse to re-name regardless of how often I do it).

Thanks to a picture CD I found at my desk, Kevin Smith is the proverbial man of the hour! I have worked with Barnaby Jones (as he prefers to be called) for over 5 years now, and he's a great friend. Kevin is a guy that loves to throw a good theme party and get all the folks together. He has put together a fried food party, cheese party, appetizer party, several holiday themed parties... and its always good times. Elvin (as he also likes to be called because he loved the Cosby show) is one hell of a master chef! He has recipies all over the place! If you are ever around 8360 S El Manicero, see if he won't whip you up some of his Olive Garden Zupa Toscana. It's better than the original because it's spicier.

But Kev's house is awesome. He bought a place from a weird lesbian couple that had just kind of trashed it over the years. I never went over after the papers were signed, but I've seen pictures and it looked like a dump and smelled like kitty litter. It's unrecognizable at this point. By the way...there is nothing wrong with being a lesbian couple for all you "politically correct" friends of mine. But anyways, over the past couple years he single handedly transformed this place into an amazing place. New carpet, paint, kitchen, bathrooms, everything. It's crazy. Elvin is a regular Bob Villa. Up every saturday morning making new fences or laying down sod. Insane. I came to live at Kevins when two years ago (close to the day I believe) when I realized I was suddenly homeless. I swung by to check out his new Bullfrog set up, asked him if I could rent a room for a couple months, he said sure, and I have lived there since. Arnold is pretty much the best roommate I've ever had because he's so mellow and his place is freaking immaculate. I'm not kidding, in two years I've never seen a dish in his sink. The rancid smell that always comes from the garbage of every other house or apartment I've lived in is but an ancient memory. Plus, nothing is more hillarious than this guy laughing at the Liza Minelli episodes of Arreseted Development.

Seriously, Kevin is one of the nicest people I know. He's a good friend to everybody that knows him. He's a good natured fellow and a true pimp! Cheers to Kevin Smith!

Oh my Kevy, Kevy, I must agree that Kev is an awesome friend and one of a kind. He is an amazing cook as well. Umm you forgot to mention he gives amazing gifts such as my favorite DVD I recieved a few years back. Sadly it's played so often it's pretty much worn out at this point. =) I need a new one Kev, Christmas is around the corner. Oh and one last thing can someone say Nipple Rings ( LMAO) p.s. I wonder what it would be like to dream about him... ;) I guess I'll never know.

Yeah for the daily spotlight! And hooray for Kevin. He's one cool cat...and I've yet to be invited to one of these "theme parties" offense.
