Daily Spotlight- Paint-can

I was watching a Pearl Jam clip from 1990 and thought... that's a lot like that band Paint-can everyone is talking about! The only difference is that Paint-can will NEVER back Ralph Nader. That's a promise.

The thing that makes our band better than most is our unconventional song writing styleeeeeee. Basically, we come up with stupid names for songs and THEN write them. Just last night we were laying down some tracks in the studio (aka my moms house) for the upcoming demo "So Much (all the time)".

The thing that makes our band worse than most is that we don't really know who is in it besides Brian and I. But also, we don't need to be tied down by always having someone who "actually knows how to play the drums" in on our jams. Rest assured, one of our drunk friends will sit down at the kit and do something or other.

All I'm saying is that this is probably the best musical project I've ever been part of. And unlike Creed Licoris...I'm not going to let this one fall through the cracks. Creed Licoris was a band that Anderson, Danny and I came up with where basically we just played Creed songs using licorice as guitar picks and drumsticks and then changed the lyrics to have licorice themes. We did a couple songs like "With Arms Wide Nerds Rope" and "Can you take me Nerds Rope" ( I think those were both Danny's).

Anyway, if Paint-can gets big...you heard it here first!
