I haven't invented anything important in like 8 years. But when I worked at the Rexburg Maverick, I invented a game called the soda challenge. First, you take one of the paper funnels used for pouring antifreeze. Then you position yourself under the soda fountain of your choice. While being timed, you pour the soda into the funnel while drinking as fast as you can. As soon as the soda spills out of the funnel you lose and have to mop the floor. It's a pretty simple game, but awesome and challenging. 

Since it was tough timing myself, I would have to wait until customers would come in to help me out. Pretty soon they would want to challenge me. That's how it got the name soda "challenge". And wouldn't you know it...I went undefeated in the '00-'01 season. It was like James Naismith never losing a basketball game. No one ever came close to touching my 10 second carbonated record or my 12 second fruit punch. I know it doesn't sound impressive, but thats a fast pour with a small funnel!

I haven't played soda challenge since because I don't think most gas stations would go for it, but I'd like to think I made a difference. I guess I have actually invented other things now that I think about it... the ostrich walk, breekas ta (co-inventor), and the game of try and hit Danny in the crotch with something heavy from across the room. But soda challenge is the only one I have a picture of.
